This course is a Government of Alberta mandated 121.5 hours of training. It includes:

• 40.5 hours of classroom training

• 57 hours of in-vehicle training

  • 39 hours of driving time

  • 18 hours of ‘off-road’ maneuvers (couple/uncouple, backing)

• 15.5 hours of ‘in-yard’ training (inspection activities)

• 8.5 hour Air Brake ‘Q’ course

  • 6.5 hours of classroom

  • 2 hours of in-vehicle training

This price includes the use of the tractor-trailer unit for the 2-hour Government road test. This price does not include a Driver’s Medical or the Government Road Test Permit.
